Who is it built for?
Amazon booksellers first — used books, textbooks and media — from a solo sourcer working with a phone and a label printer to a team running several warehouses. The same record also serves retail and online arbitrage sellers, wholesale accounts and brand owners on Amazon.
How long does setup take?
Connect your seller account through Amazon’s official authorisation flow and your catalogue starts syncing as soon as the connection is authorised. Scanning is ready as soon as the sync begins; a full historical reconciliation in MobyPoint takes longer depending on how much account history you bring with you.
Do I have to buy the whole suite?
No. Pick a plan — Minnow, Anchovy, Dolphin, Octopus or Whale — that bundles the tools with monthly limits, or buy any single tool on its own through MobySolo, from $9 a month for MobyScan. Each tool’s page lists its Standard and PRO prices separately.
Which plan should I start with?
Minnow at $49 fits a solo seller testing their first thousand SKUs: one Amazon account, one user, MobyScan plus one more tool of your choice. Anchovy and Dolphin cover full-time single-operator businesses and add Lister, Pricer and Shelf. Octopus opens up more seats and API access for small teams, and Whale is built for high-volume operations with custom limits.
What changes when I flip a plan to PRO?
PRO raises the ceilings rather than changing how the tools behave — more Amazon accounts, more users, higher monthly turnover and stock limits, and on the larger plans extra modules such as MobyChannel. Minnow is Standard only.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Move up or down whenever your volume changes: upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades apply from your next billing cycle, and your catalogue, cost data and settings carry over untouched.
What happens if I go over my monthly turnover limit?
Nothing breaks mid-month and nothing is switched off. You will see the limit approaching in your dashboard and we will suggest the plan that matches your new volume. On Whale, higher turnover actually moves you into a lower percentage tier.
Does MobyScan work without an internet connection?
Yes. MobyScan keeps a local product database on the device, so lookups stay fast in warehouse dead zones and thrift-store basements. Scans queue up and sync the moment you are back on a signal.
Which scanners do you support?
MobyScan pairs with most Bluetooth ring and laser scanners — or simply uses your phone camera, with no extra hardware at all.
Which marketplaces are supported?
The major Amazon marketplaces across North America and Europe, with MobyChannel extending your listings and stock to other sales channels. If one specific marketplace decides the deal for you, ask us before you buy.
How does MobyPricer avoid a race to the bottom?
Every rule runs inside a floor and a ceiling you set per SKU or per category. MobyPricer competes for the Buy Box against the seller types you choose, and when winning would mean going under your floor it simply stops — a lost Buy Box is cheaper than a sale below cost.
Is it safe to connect my Amazon account?
The connection uses Amazon’s official Selling Partner API authorisation. We never see or store your Seller Central password, each tool requests only the permissions it needs, and you can revoke access from Seller Central at any moment.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your catalogue, cost basis and sales history stay yours — export them whenever you like, and they are deleted on request when you close your account. We do not sell or share your numbers.
What does Moby AI actually do?
