Why it exists

The bottleneck is never sourcing. It is the two hours after.

Most sellers can find more inventory than they can list. That gap is where cash sits in boxes instead of in the warehouse.

Today

Listing one unit at a time

  • ×Seller Central’s add-a-product form, forty times, with the same six fields typed the same six ways.
  • ×MSKUs invented on the spot, so in March you cannot tell what a unit cost you in August.
  • ×Condition notes written fresh each time, ranging from thoughtful to “good condition”.
  • ×A flat file rejected at 11pm with an error report that names a row number and nothing else.
  • ×Labels printed later from a different screen, with the matching done by eye and hope.
With MobyLister

Listing the whole batch

  • ✓Paste a spreadsheet, pull the MobyScan buy list, or type identifiers — the batch is the unit of work, not the item.
  • ✓MSKUs generated from a pattern you designed once, carrying source, date and cost inside the code.
  • ✓Condition notes pulled from your own library, with variables filled in per unit.
  • ✓Gated brands, missing prices, duplicate MSKUs and malformed rows flagged in a grid you can fix in place.
  • ✓FNSKU labels are queued for the batch as it publishes, matched to the right unit by the system rather than by you.
What it does

Built for the person who lists forty units, not four

Every feature here exists because a seller told us which part of the evening they hated most.

01

Bulk in, bulk out

Bring a CSV, an ASIN list, a MobyScan buy list or a supplier sheet. Map the columns once and the mapping is remembered for next time. A whole day of sourcing moves through in a single batch.

02

MSKU patterns that mean something

Design the code once — source, buy date, unit cost, sequence — and every listing carries its own history. Two years later, a return with a strange MSKU is still traceable to the shelf you bought it from.

03

A condition-note library

Write your notes properly once, per condition grade and per category, with variables for the details that change. Better notes reduce returns, and consistency is the only realistic way to keep them good.

04

Templates per category

Fulfilment channel, handling time, tax code, minimum and maximum price, restock setting. Apply a template and the boring fields fill themselves the same way every single time.

05

Errors caught before Amazon sees them

Brand gating, missing required attributes, duplicate MSKUs, prices below your floor and blank quantities are flagged in the grid. You fix them while you still have context, not the next morning from a row number.

06

Labels in the same motion

The moment a batch publishes, the FNSKU labels for it are queued — correct quantity, correct condition, in the same order as the units on your table.

How it works

One batch, four steps

The batch is the thing you work on. Individual units only come up when one of them needs attention.

01

Bring the list

Pull today’s MobyScan buy list, drop in a spreadsheet, or paste identifiers. Column mapping is remembered between batches.

CSV · ASIN · UPC · ISBN
02

Apply a template

Category defaults, condition grade, fulfilment channel, price rules and the MSKU pattern, applied to every row at once.

Templates
03

Clear the flags

The grid shows only the rows that need you: gated brands, missing prices, duplicates. Fix them in place and the flag clears.

Pre-submit checks
04

Publish and print

The batch goes live and the labels queue. From here MobyShelf builds the shipment and MobyPricer takes over the price.

A detail worth the trouble

The MSKU is the only piece of the unit that survives everything

Prices change, listings get merged, ASINs get suppressed — but the MSKU you assigned stays attached to that physical unit for its whole life. Design it once, with real information inside it, and every later question about that unit has an answer.

  • Source code tells you which store, supplier or pallet a unit came from, months after the fact.
  • The embedded cost means a return or a reimbursement can be valued without opening a spreadsheet.
  • The buy date makes ageing visible at a glance, long before the storage surcharge arrives.
  • The sequence number keeps identical units distinguishable when you need to trace exactly one of them.
“
Inventory in a box is not inventory. It is a receipt with hope attached.

MobyLister exists to shorten the distance between the two — from a day of sourcing to a live listing, in one sitting.

Bizimle konuşun 214 214 MOBY
Do I still need Seller Central?

For account settings and support cases, yes — Amazon keeps those. For listing, no. MobyLister connects through Amazon’s official Selling Partner API authorisation and publishes directly, which is why the error checking can happen before submission rather than after.

Can it create a brand new ASIN?

It can, where your account is entitled to: brand owners and sellers approved for a category can create new listings with the required attributes. For arbitrage and wholesale you are usually adding an offer to an existing ASIN, which is the faster path and the default here.

What identifiers does it accept?

ASIN, UPC, EAN and ISBN, plus your own supplier SKU as a passenger column so your sheet does not have to be reorganised before you upload it.

How many units can I list at once?

A whole shipment in a single batch. Very large uploads are split into batches automatically so a single bad row cannot hold up the rest of the shipment.

What happens to rows that fail?

Nothing is published for a flagged row until you clear the flag — a gated brand, a missing price, a duplicate MSKU. The rest of the batch publishes normally, so one problem unit never blocks thirty-nine good ones.

Does it handle variations and parent-child listings?

Yes for adding offers to existing variation children. Building new variation families from scratch is a brand-owner task with more required attributes, and we would rather walk you through that once than pretend it is a one-click job.

Can I use my own MSKU format?

Yes, and you should. Build the pattern from source, date, cost and sequence tokens or type your own prefix. If you already have a convention, bring it — changing it later is possible but rarely worth it.
