Not through strategy — through arithmetic. Each one undercuts by a cent, every few minutes, until the price is under everybody’s cost and nobody notices until the settlement lands.
Every rule below exists so that the outcome of a price war is a decision you made in advance rather than a surprise.
Landed cost from MobyScan, plus fees, plus your minimum ROI. It is a calculation, not a guess, and it recalculates when a fee changes underneath you.
Filter by fulfilment method, seller rating, feedback count, stock depth and Buy Box eligibility. A merchant-fulfilled seller with two units and no history should not be setting your price.
Aggressive on fast movers, patient on slow ones, and a hold-the-price mode for products where you have genuine pricing power. Apply per SKU, per category or per supplier.
Moby AI reads how a SKU is actually selling. Units ageing toward a storage surcharge can ease toward the floor on a schedule; when a competitor runs dry, the price walks back up.
The share you held, the hours you lost, and which competitor took it. Repricing without this is just changing numbers and hoping.
Amazon’s own minimum and maximum, MAP agreements, a per-SKU override and a global never-below-cost switch that no rule and no model can talk its way past.
The first hour of configuration is the whole job. After that MobyPricer should mostly be something you check, not something you operate.
Pull landed costs from your own data, add fees, set the minimum profit you will accept. Per SKU, per category, or one rule for everything.
Never below costDecide which sellers you are actually competing with. Most of the damage in a price war comes from reacting to offers you should have ignored.
Competitor filtersMatch, undercut by a set amount, hold, or let the AI balance velocity against margin within the boundaries you have set.
Rules or AIBuy Box share by hour, price history per SKU, and the moments where the floor stopped a sale. Adjust from evidence rather than instinct.
Win analyticsIt is the price below which a sale actively costs you money, and it moves every time a fee or a freight rate moves. MobyPricer computes it from the same landed cost your accounting uses, so the answer is the same in both places — and so a change in fees updates your prices instead of quietly eating your margin.
MobyPricer is deliberately dependent on the rest of the suite, because guessing at cost is how repricers go wrong.
Losing the Buy Box costs you a sale. Winning it below cost costs you the business.
MobyPricer is built around that asymmetry: compete hard to the floor, and never one cent past it.
If you are competing on more than a handful of listings, this is usually the tool that changes the monthly number most.
Full PRO-grade repricing on its own — floors, competitor filters, strategies and win analytics for a single seller account.

Bizimle konuşun 214 214 MOBYMobyPricer watches your listings continuously and acts within Amazon’s own update limits. In practice the reaction speed is rarely what decides a price war — the floor and the competitor filters are. A repricer that reacts in seconds to a seller you should have ignored is faster at losing money.
For a real floor, yes. If landed cost is missing, MobyPricer can fall back to a percentage-based minimum, but that is a stopgap: it protects a number rather than a margin. Costs captured by MobyScan flow in on their own, which is the point of keeping them in one system.
It works within them. Your Seller Central minimum and maximum are respected as hard boundaries, and MAP agreements can be entered per SKU so a rule cannot push a price under a contractual floor. Fair pricing policy violations usually come from unguarded automation, which is precisely what the guard rails exist to prevent.
Then there is no race, and MobyPricer should not invent one. Hold mode keeps your price where you set it, with an optional slow test upward to find the ceiling. It will alert you when a new seller arrives.
The rules decide what is allowed; the AI decides where to sit inside that. It reads sell-through rate, stock age, competitor behaviour and seasonality to choose a position between the floor and the ceiling. It cannot widen the boundaries you set — only choose within them.
Yes, individually or by category, supplier or tag. Some products should simply never be repriced automatically, and pretending otherwise is how sellers end up distrusting the whole tool.
You will see it, which is more than most sellers get. Suppression, condition mismatches and eligibility problems appear in the win analytics rather than silently looking like a losing streak.
Yes. When the cheaper competitor sells out or leaves the listing, holding an artificially low price is just a donation. Upward moves respect your ceiling and any MAP rule you have set.
